Mozna to byl ten moment, kdy jsem mel pripojit soupravu a treba by to jelo. Mozna to jeste zkusim tak. Kazdopadne by me zajimalo, co ti z Roco odepsali.
Už to tu někdo řešil.

Dear Madam/Sir, in the manual for railjet set you are writing that power supply of the carriages is only from the control (driving) carriage. So why is the locomotive with the first carriage connected also with power-supply coupling? I mean what is the reason of the conductive connection between the locomotive and the first carriage? Thank you for your reply!
ROCO:
The current-carrying coupling to the "train locomotive" is actually only a "two-wire connection" that is required for push-pull operation.
Since this application is often not required (the interior lighting is controlled via the decoder in the control car), any "Taurus" from our company can be used here using the coupling adapter (140451) from our spare parts store. When using another "tractor", the height of the NEM shaft is decisive for the functionality and was not verified in particular with all items that could be used (e.g. Vectron).

https://www.roco.cc/de/service/sparepar ... ssp=140451The "electrical couplings" of our Railjet sets were provided with additional "guides" in the course of further development. These side "connectors" support the stability of very large or long combinations of the railjet. The reason for this is that the first generation of the couplings could lose the connection when the tensile load was very high, or they could come loose during operation.
